Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox born December 25 in 1954. She was born in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the name used by her parents. Lennox attended the Royal Academy of Music, London during the 1970s. She was a harpsichord student and flautist piano over 3 years. Lennox's budget was increased with a student stipend and part-time work. Lennox felt that her skills weren't as good as those of her Royal Academy classmates. So she began thinking about other routes she could choose. Lennox was a flute player in the band Dragons Playground in 1976. However, she left before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent show. Between 1977 and 1980 she was vocalist for The Tourists. A British pop group. It was during this time that she got to know Dave Stewart with whom she will form her pop group Eurythmics. Lennox went on to record her debut solo album Diva. This came out in 1992. The album was an enormous success both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album came out in the month of October, 2014. The C.D. Lennox selected her favorites blues soul tracks from her early childhood. Lepidoptera features four keyboard tracks. The E.P. is an accompanying piece to her art installation at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art called Now I Let You Go... The album is also her debut independently-released album. Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on 25 December. She is an activist, philanthropist as well as a performer. Following a modest success as a member of the group known as The Tourists in the late 1970s, she and her fellow musician Dave Stewart went on to become internationally renowned as the duo known as Eurythmics during the 1980s. Lennox began her solo musical career in 1992, with her debut album Diva. It included a number of well-known songs, including the hit song Walking On Broken Glass and What's the Matter with You. Medusa is the album she recorded as her first studio album in 1995. It has covers of such songs as The No MoreI Love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. Her six studio solo albums and the compilation album have a lot of tracks. |
